The Coaching Habit: Empowering leadership in the workplace (and beyond)
This workshop is designed to help you elevate your leadership skills with a simple framework. Learn how to adopt a coaching mindset so you can support the individuals you work with to reach higher levels of performance and development.
Based on Michael Stanier’s short and impactful book, “The Coaching Habit: Say Less, Ask More, and Change the Way You Lead Forever” this workshop is a practical hands-on learning experience that leaves you with an easy-to-use toolbox of proven skills and game-changing questions to help the people you work with to reach their full potential.

To coach or not to coach?
Coaching is an essential leadership skill, but the role and power dynamics of leadership can make coaching tricky in some situations. Have you tried coaching when the employee is not taking ownership of the issue? Or they don’t have the skills or authority to address the issue?
Coaching can help in these situations, but as a leader, there may be better choices for you and for the employee. This session will explore situations where coaching isn’t always the best choice, and what other options leaders have available to support their team.
Session three: Feb 25, 12:15-1:00
Team coaching: Rocket fuel for leadership development
Session four: March 4, 12:15-1:00
High-performing teams: Strong relationships and impactful results
We all have had challenging experiences working on teams. Even when teams include well-qualified and motivated people , each person brings different values, work styles, communication patterns, and contexts. Sometimes things gel naturally, but often it takes effort to get a team to be really effective. When team function is overlooked, teams flounder, and so do results.
This workshop provides you with a framework for high-performing teams, in which reflection and learning is central. You will complete a self-assessment to identify what is working and not working on your team, and learn about a simple set of three questions you can integrate into your organization to bring about growth and continuous improvement.
